Nathaniel Anderson

Nathaniel has over 18 years’ experience working on the front line as a Child and Youth Care Practitioner (CYCP) formerly known as Child and Youth Worker (CYW). He has worked in many different areas within the social services field including the Toronto District School Board (TDSB), Bartimaeus Inc, Wm+a and the Ministry of Children and Youth Services (MCYS). It is from these opportunities and his lived experiences that he realized many of the gaps in social services that remain to this day in service delivery for families.

It broke his heart to witness the suffering of many families and the cries for help from so many families. Nathaniel felt that it was very important for him to become the solution that many were looking for with all the years of experience he has obtained. He wanted to give back to the community and help people find solutions to their problems while helping to reduce waitlists for families getting services.

It is for these reasons that he decided to pursue his bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree at Toronto Metropolitan University. His passion and dedication for making the community stronger lead to the creation of Connections Community Services.
